Former Haryana minister surrenders Kanda
The former minister of Haryana Goyal Gopal Kanda, defendant in the case of suicide Geetika Sharma hostess finally surrendered to police in Delhi, 11 days after his death at midnight on Friday. Deputy Commissioner of Police P. Krunakaran confirmed his arrest. All efforts made by Mr. Kanda to get anticipatory bail in vain because the court denied his request both times.
